2nd ESO and 3rd ESO. Revision of the Present Simple. Revision of the First Conditional and Extension of the 2nd and 3rd Conditional.

12/05/2008

Hello Students:

What does the word PRESENT SIMPLE suggest?
Do you remember UNIT 1 when we studied the THE PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE?

Give your ideas to your teacher and we will write them on the blackboard.

As we have finished, check the following powerpoint on the present simple:

Now we have talked about the PRESENT SIMPLE, remember that we use the present simple when using the FIRST CONDITIONAL.

Examples:

If he comes (PRESENT SIMPLE), we will go (FUTURE) the beach.

Here the verb come takes an -s because the personal pronoun is a third singular person like she, it or Peter, Mary or the dog among others….

Here you find an explanation of the first conditional in English. After that, you will have an exercise.

Exercise:

http://web2.uvcs.uvic.ca/elc/studyzone/330/grammar/1cond2.htm

If you have understood the first conditional, check the second and the third conditional beacause you will need them in 4th of ESO and in 1st Batxillerat.

Have and good luck. If you have got any question, ask me in the next class.

Die Deutsche Sprache. Eine wichtige Sache.

03/05/2008

Liebe Leute,
